Purchased a spa afternoon tea with a treatment on a Tuesday for a 25th Wedding Anniversary gift to my wife. The massage was excellent and the staff attentive but the pool was way to busy in the afternoon with regular spa users - every chair taken and no room to move. If I did this again I would definitely do the spa full day arriving early with lunch as its better value with the treatments on offer. Afternoon tea was OK but service a bit slow (seemed it was prepared when we arrived at the bar even though it was booked in advance so a 25 minute wait... don't turn up at 4pm expecting to be served - we turned up at 3.40pm and that seemed to irritate the staff serving. A little more effort on the sandwiches would have made this excellent otherwise nice tea and coffee, tea cakes and prosecco.

Our spa day was relaxing, the spa staff were very knowledgable and the treatment was lovely. Spa was clean and tidy. The afternoon tea was a little disappointing, whilst the variety was good, it took over an hour for the afternoon tea to be prepared and brought out and there was just two of us. It felt like time we could have spent using the spa facilities instead and meant we had to go back later to eat the afternoon tea as we had allowed 90 minutes for the afternoon tea before our treatment and so ran out of time. Whilst a drink of Prosecco was offered on the house, this was already part of our experience and so nothing was offered. Otherwise a lovely relaxing day.

A little crowded at first due to an exercise class, but after that plenty of space by the pool. The therapists were able and the place was clean. The lunch selection was a little disappointing. Due to staff illness our treatments were cut short and SpaSeekers were very helpful in getting us a considerable refund for this. It's a pleasant spa - we were just a bit unlucky on the day.

Treatments were excellent, had the brilliance facial and partner had back massage. Facilities disappointing, steam room wasn’t working but this was sorted really quickly and no Jacuzzi. Voucher was afternoon tea, this isn’t an option choice was light lunch, specifically choose this deal for the afternoon tea.

This is a lovely little spa! Me and my friend really enjoyed our indulgent spa day package and everything was just as we hoped it would be! Left feeling relaxed and refreshed, didn't want to leave though!

The treatments themselves were excellent, my therapist was very good, and very professional, I enjoyed this part of my visit a lot. Sadly the steam room was out of order and there was an aqua fit session taking place in the pool during the time before my treatment so I was unable to use either of these during my visit, both of which I had very much been looking forward to using prior to my treatments. The meal was ok and staff were polite, however when I asked for an additional drink (which I knew I would need to pay for) I was told we will have to charge you for that and the card machine was brought to the table with my drink rather than allowing me to enjoy my meal and drink and pay afterwards, as you would expect to do in most restaurants.
