Good value for money as a special deal. Booked it last minute. Spa staff helpful and attentive. Clean facilities. Massage was a good standard and afternoon tea basic but well presented and plentiful. Lovely setting. Pool good. Sauna tiny. Steam room temperature so hot it was impossible to stay in. No Jacuzzi!

Had lovely spa day with my bestie for our birthdays here today. Mud treatment was fabulous and massage was brilliant, therapist was great! Afternoon tea was delicious. Love the dark relaxation room here with loungers & blankets although could do with more loungers as was very busy. Spa is great but health centre a bit run down, mosaic tiles missing in steam room and limescale on tiles around water coolers, pool, robes bit worn. Also would be nice if employees and guests could bear in mind that conversations in corridors can be heard in relaxation room as it’s hard to relax with so much chatter.

Lovely spa for cleanliness and friendliness but if you haven’t booked any treatments there is very little to do. Only sauna or steam room alongside the pool.

What a great day, attended with a group of friends as a 80th birthday treat for one of them, our first time and all big ladies was dornting the young girl was very helpful but did not explain things overly well and certainly did not pay attention to gown sizing which I thought was unforgivable. However once over this embarisment things did improve. We were made to feel very very welcome by everyone, was encouraged to join aquafit, had two beautiful treatments and a lovely afternoon tea. All in all a great day, everyone enjoyed it immensely.

The hotels entrance through the golf course is stunning. When I booked the hotel and spa retreat, I wasn't told about the time out treatments were booked in for and only just arrived in time as we were told check in was after 3. The spa itself was tired and could probably do with a refurb. Tiles missing and not the cleanest. The robes were old with holes and tears in. The hotel itself again was tired in areas, a few broken lights and taped up towel warmer. The shower silicone needed refreshing as was black in places and the shower door was completely missing a seal. The hotel and restaurant staff were extremely pleasant andthe food was outstanding. The spa treatments themselves were well worth the money, overall as a package it was well worth the money for the food and treatments alone.

Went for a 1 night spa break with a friend, we had a lovely time, room was spacious and clean, food was amazing and the treatments were very relaxing, pool and steam room and sauna were great, staff were polite and friendly will definitely be visiting again.
