The Spa & Wellness at Brooklands Hotel & Spa

Treat yourself to a stress-melting pampering session at BSpa, the Brooklands Hotel’s temple of tranquility.

Flit between the his and hers sauna and steam room, or cocoon yourself in a soft, fluffy robe and head outdoors for a hot tub with a view. With room for 12 people, this is hydrotherapy at its most sociable. Reconnect with friends or your other half as you enjoy the bubbles while admiring the race track below.

Weather looking a bit British outside? They’ve thought of that too. At BSpa you’ll arrive and leave looking and feeling like you just had a mini break to the Med. It’s all thanks to the superb sunlight therapy room, filled with comfy loungers and flooded with spectrum lighting and infrared heat replicating natural sunlight. Bliss!

A treatment in one of the zen-like therapy rooms will relax the body and mind, and awaken the senses. Then with your skin feeling silky soft it’s time to retire to a warm water-bed in the meditation room to finish your day of indulgence.

The Gym & Fitness at Brooklands Hotel & Spa

Whether you’re a fitness fiend or just want to dust off a few cobwebs, the BFit gym at Brooklands Hotel is the perfect place to reach your goals in style.

Improve your cardiovascular fitness on the Precor treadmills, stair climber or elliptical cross trainer. There’s a Concept II rowing machine, or jump on one of the two Peloton bikes. Pump some iron with the free weights or try a Precor weights machine - there’s an incredible range of state-of-the-art equipment on offer.

Then go for a relaxing steam and sauna to fully unwind after your challenging workout. Don’t worry though. You can replenish all those toxins you’ve released at the bar later on.

Restaurants & Food at Brooklands Hotel & Spa

Feed your appetite for all-things glamorous at Brooklands Hotel. The perfect setting for a sophisticated soiree after a pampering day, this sleek, modernist glass hotel was built on the Solomon Straight of the Brooklands racing circuit.

Its 1907 Restaurant and Bar was named after the year the racetrack first opened and draws its style inspiration straight from the 1920s - the golden age of motor racing.

1907 Bar

Bold bites and creative cocktails are on the menu at the chic 1907 Bar. The racing circuit’s legacy had its heyday in the 1920s and 1930s, and the bar takes its design cues from the high-glam era. Slip on something sparkly and sip on signature cocktails named after racing, like the Amaretto-based Solomon Straight, while admiring the chrome propellers, a nod to Brooklands’ importance as an aerodrome, too.

1907 Restaurant

All that unwinding calls for fine dining and you’re in for a treat. The two AA rosette-winning 1907 serves up an adventurous dinner menu, along with an ambience that exudes exclusivity and elegance. They serve a hearty breakfast, too, along with special menus for spa lunches if you’re here on a pampering package at BSpa.

Visited with my daughter. We both had a treatment, back massage for me, which unfortunately went too quickly but was amazing. I felt very relaxed afterwards. We then relaxed in the hot tub and on the terrace. The sun room us also really nice. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We finished our afternoon with a delicious afternoon tea.

This place has many things going for it, but it also has some disadvantages. The welcome is efficient but more matter of fact than warm. The treatment was fantastic, the steam room and sauna were within the changing rooms but were also very good. There's a very nice hot tub and some very comfortable loungers overlooking the Mercedes World track, but that's about it. There are no swimming pools and the place is rather small overall . Prices for drinks are too high and the car parking is charged at a high rate after two complimentary hours. The afternoon tea was plentiful and of good quality. Was it worth it at £85 visit for four hours? Probably not, but I did enjoy my time.

Had a fabulous time at Brooklands. Fully relaxed. The staff were polite and helpful. Loved the different experiences available. The hot tub, the meditation room the sun lamp room, sauna and steam rooms and not forgetting the back massage. Looking forward to next visit.

Lovely spa but short treatments

The spa itself was lovely, the facilities were great. The sauna and steam room were accessed from inside the changing rooms so gender-separated. The staff were all lovely, however my only issue was that the treatments definitely ran short. I had booked 2x 25 minute treatments which I had consecutively in the same treatment room which was nice, however I was collected for the beginning of the treatments at 5.30pm, and as I left to go back to the changing rooms I saw the time was only 6.10pm, so I had only been in the room for 40 minutes, including walking to and from the treatment room. I felt overall the package price was fair given that it included an overnight stay, 3 course dinner (which was excellent, although the restaurant service was exceptionally slow, we were in the restaurant for 2.5 hours!) 2 treatments, and a great breakfast, its just a shame they advertise the treatments as 25 minutes each when they were much less than that.

On first arrival at the spa, I was a bit underwhelmed, the sauna and steam rooms are in the changing rooms, so I couldn't go in with my partner. We spent some time in the hot tub which was ace (take your dressing gown and towel though as when you get out its cold! Really enjoyed relaxing in the tub, wasn't too busy either. Then we went to the sunshine room, which was nice to warm up in. My favorite however was the meditation room with heated water beds. Such a nice place to relax. Then I had a massage with Elisabeth, the best massage I've had in years! She knew more than what she was doing, felt amazing after, and gave me some good advice. Defo would go back for a massage and chill out time.

Went for a treat with my daughter and her friend before my daughter returned to The States. The staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The treatments were wonderful and we enjoyed a really relaxing afternoon before our afternoon tea. Again, the staff were so helpful especially so as we had special dietary needs which they did their upmost to accommodate. Our only criticism would be the changing area is very small and we had to stand on the bench to get to our allocated lockers. Wasn’t too much of a problem for us as it was very quiet on the day we visited and we’re all agile enough to reach the lockers. Maybe could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. That said, we had a fabulous day and would definitely go again.
